Flares are back with a vengeance and I'm welcoming the return to retro with open arms. They're easy and chic, and you can channel the likes of Joni Mitchell (minus the golden locks and signature guitar) with ease, especially in my 7 For All Mankind high-waist trousers. Who doesn't want that? And seriously, it was about time I gave my skinnies some competition. Virtually any top works--fitted, cropped, lace--and while I think they look best with a high heel or clog, they're just as good with flats. These trousers are feminine, sophisticated, and they’re low maintenance glam at its best. Either way you spin it, it's spring's new silhouette and it's here to stay.
