Happy Birthday Audrey!

May 4, 2015, would have been Audrey Hepburn's 86th birthday. Today's post is dedicated to this style icon we've grown to love and equate with classic and timeless elegance. This shoot was inspired by Audrey Hepburn's Funny Face film for Taylor Hues SAIC fashion photography final project. But I quickly realized Hepburn's elegant dance moves and ballerina like choreography is not for the serious or stiff! A sip of mimosa and a couple songs into it, think Moon River and Mozart, I was loosened up. It helped that anything cropped, buttoned and all black feels elegant and comfortable. It was a fun film-inspired-fashion shoot that I would do again in a heartbeat. Happy birthday Audrey! Thank you for making elegance classy, and modesty, sexy. And thank you Taylor for this awesome idea!
