{home} My Green Goddess Breakfast

Love these bowls and plates from ANTHROPOLOGIE

I'm often asked, How do you start your day? What's your favorite breakfast? This is actually a really easy question to answer as I've had the same thing every morning for months. My kids like it, too, and none of us are sick of it  . . .  yet. I prep the night before with bananas on the brink of getting brown and fresh pineapple. Both I cut, place into ziploc bags, and freeze to make things easier.
C'est voilá.

1 frozen banana
1 cup of frozen pineapple
1/2 clove garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
1 cup coconut water, or just water
A couple leaves of kale, collard greens, or chard

Place in a Vitamix or blender till smooth and enjoy.

  2. Just about to go grocery shopping so this is timely! Do you chop the ginger first or just throw in a nub? Also, would you give this to a 10 month old or do you find it pretty acidic? Thanks!

    1. hi! I just throw in a nub :) I would give him/her a little and see how they take it.
My 2 year old loves it the most, but all kids are different. Hope that helps xx
